Chen Chun-lan Director, Yingge Ceramics Museum The works were specially shipped over from an art center in MonteCarlo, Monaco. Because they are ceramics they are quite fragile, so the packaging was done very carefully.
Shipping these works to Taiwan does not come without risks and costs, as the museum had to pay insurance premiums of NT$10 million. However, the five-month exhibition is expected to attract more than one million visitors, making the investment worthwhile.
