'Bogus' Named Word of the Year (2013/12/09)

Taiwan’s word of the year is 'Bogus.'

It was chosen by more than a third of respondents to a United Daily News and Far Eastern Group foundation poll. Inspiration came from a spate of food scares, none larger than the passing off of cheap cottonseed oil as more expensive edible oils.

真假的「假」，從57個名人推薦的字中，以超過三分之一的票數，成為2013年台灣代表字。

今年食安問題不斷，造假食物幾乎一天一爆發，年度代表字，也真實的反映民眾對台灣的信心。
