Themed waiting areas help Taoyuan Airport land on list of traveler friendly airports (2012/10/09)

One of the major changes at the renovated Taoyuan Airport is a series of themed waiting areas. Among these is a Hello Kitty zone that the tourism website Amadeus cited when naming the world’s 10 most traveler friendly airports.

This pink zone is filled with Hello Kitty chairs, Hello Kitty play areas and Hello Kitty breastfeeding rooms. It is one of the themed waiting rooms at Taoyuan International Airport.

The pink theme in the Hello Kitty display area is well loved. Many travelers like to take photos there.

The tourism website Amadeus listed 10 of the world’s most traveler friendly airports. From Asia it included airports in Taoyuan, Seoul, Singapore and Hong Kong. Besides the themed waiting areas, reasons for Taoyuan Airport’s success included its goodwill ambassadors, smart uniforms and personal service.

桃機場獲獎

經常出國搭飛機的民眾，最苦惱的的是候機跟轉機的時候，不知道如何打發漫長等待的時間，根據國外一個旅遊網站"亞瑪迪斯"(Amadeus)最近公布，全球10大友善機場調查，桃園機場也名列其中，而最引人注目的則是凱蒂貓專區的可愛魅力。

這間充滿粉色系凱蒂貓專區，裡面不但有充滿凱蒂貓圖案的座椅，就連遊戲區甚至哺乳室都是凱蒂貓，這裡可不是一般的主題餐廳，而是桃園國際機場的候機室。

旅遊網站「亞瑪迪斯」調查全球10大友善機場，亞洲地區台灣、南韓仁川機場、新加坡樟宜以及香港赤臘角機場都入選。台灣成功的理由，還包括親善大使，俐落大方的制服和親切的問候。

重新拉皮的桃園機場，讓人耳目一新。
